  Technical Support - Hours and Charges


Charges:
» Charges for corporate and callout support are set at $85 - $180 per hour plus $0.50 per km travel. Site fee $35 per visit.
 
» Workshop charges are set at $80 per hour with a minimum charge of $35.


Hours:
At present Plain Communications Support is available by telephone from 8.30am to 6.00pm, Monday to Friday on our support line: 364 5888.

We encourage you to call this number if the inquiry is one that cannot be responded to via email, namely one concerning actual connection or functionality of your email.

Where your inquiry is of a more general nature, please email the support address given when you signed up. The reason that the support phone is generally answered by an answerphone is that the support desk cannot respond proactively to several people at one time and we do not think it is helpful to put people in a telephone queue when we are quite willing to call you back as soon as we finish giving proper attention to the person at the front of the queue. This works out best for everyone in our experience.

If you are a business and believe that you have critical need for support outside standard business hours including call out then please contact us to find out the rates for pager callout contracts.

The system itself is electronically monitored 24 hours with pager alert to several personnel in the event of a network outage or server failure.
